In concert with the tenets of The Epicurean in respect to savouring and appreciating great food, drink, service and ambiance, Rensselear's Experimental Media and Performing Arts Center's own designation as a "spectacular, state-of-the-art venue for the creative and performing arts, and a bold, world-class platform for research and education" as quoted by Rensselear Polytechnic Institute's President, Dr. Shirley Ann Jackson, harmonizes to introduce The Epicurean at EMPAC: Evelyn's Café.

The symbiosis of the two entities has been evident, as The Epicurean has been the venue's preferred caterer for their most high-profile events and artistic performances since 2008. And now students, faculty, and EMPAC visitors alike will have the opportunity to share in the experience daily; as the Café aspires to be a haven for students seeking a quiet place to read and enjoy a gourmet sandwich or for professors to invite colleagues to join them for discourse and discussion over a cappuccino and signature Epicurean brownie.

The café will also feature unique events, built around the pursuit of excellence through experimentation...an idea it shares with the space in which it now calls home. Additional directions: Enter EMPAC's Main Entrance from Rensselear's Campus and take Elevator to the 5th floor. Look for THE EPICUREAN at EVELYN'S CAFE facing the Concert Hall. Street parking available, as well as in the parking garage on College Avenue. View a campus map here at rpi.edu.
